I can't believe what is going on in America. The riot was nuts, yeah ok, but the reaction to it by the left is insane. They are using it as an excuse to try to silence all dissenting viewpoints and crush conservatives under their boot heels. Thereby confirming everything the more extreme right wingers have been saying for years.
This is fucking crazy. They don't see that what they are doing is only making things worse. I live in a rural and very republican area. For many years I've been hearing people blow hot air in a joking way about having a rebellion some day. It was always understood that it was just bullshit big talk.
But this shit is getting real now. People aren't joking when they talk about it now. The left needs to chill out and stop trying to censor and squash dissent. And for Gods sake they need to stop refering to half the people in the country as their enemies.
I'm honestly afraid that this is going to turn into open war in this country before the end of this year if the left doesn't stop pushing people to the edge.

Julian Assange has been trapped in a small room for years and years. We killed MLK. "Hero" Ronald Reagan conducted illegal wars and sold crack cocaine domestically to fund them. Nothing has changed, it's only that we have had a President who capitalized on that discontent over loss of control, and cracks in the communication apparatus's control (the novelty of the Internet), and weaponized it by merging it with identity-politics hatred. And sadly, he didn't do so for the forces of good, but completely selfishly.

These people you refer to all betrayed us by completely shirking their civic duty for 50+ years, so when they say they are defending the United States, take it with a big fat grain of salt. They are merely eaters, cattle who were totally deaf to righteousness but now have been mobilized by a truly wicked force. You do NOT want those people conducting a "revolution". Calm them down and make sure they get their fentanyl. The end ain't near. We are now returning to normalcy. Imperialism, cheap goods and a TV that tells them everything's cool and dandy except them foreign enemies over there, which is really all they care about.
