If we're gonna call Wizards one of the easiest to solo due to the simplicity of root/nuking then Clerics are right up there, as well. Considering that Cleric undead nukes are pretty much the same mana efficiency as Wizard nukes but come with the benefit of a -50 MR resist mod. And Clerics can also obviously heal themselves, as well as single pull with the Lull line. Having leveled both, I can tell you that single target root/nuking is much smoother on the Cleric for these reasons.
Wizard soloing doesn't really shine until you can quad, which isn't the most difficult thing to do in this game but certainly isn't the easiest, either. It's pretty easy to die while quadding if you aren't paying 100% attention. All it takes is slightly mistiming your cast of Bonds of Force.
