One can only bring another to the precipice, for salvation is a gift from God, not Man. It is up to each one to let go of that which burdens them, if they are to pass through the eye of the needle.
How marketable is losing one's ego at the cross, anyways?!?. Methinks this is why the church does so, in a disingenuous manner, while the accepting the carefully shorn coin of those who dawdle at the door.
