Ah yes, the ol' switcheroo. The vast majority of people *do* wear masks because they are required in the vast majority of places that people go. The statistics regarding the relationship between mask wearing and infection of covid is a total crapshoot. "Masks" would be much more effective if everyone had an N-95, for sure. A piece of paper or cloth strapped around your mouth and nose barely does jack shit, because there are gigantic holes in them, relative to the size of the particles we are talking about.
And for the millionth time, thankfully, covid does not appear to be dangerous for the vast, vast majority of people. So if you can't honestly assess the differential between the harms of exposure to covid and the harms of lockdowns, you are not arguing in good faith. You are an ideologue.
