Speed running MMOGs seems like an incredibly stupid idea to me, just in general.
When you speed run Pac-Man or Mario or whatever, it's all you: no one else plays with you. This lets you compare speed runs on an "apples to apples" level.
But in a MMOG by definition thousands of other people are involved, and that makes my speed run vs. your speed run a total apples to oranges case. What's the point?
