I'm honestly enjoying some of these lockdowns if nothing else than as retribution for areas with poor mask compliance. Hope these areas fuckin crumble.

Because obviously everyone wasn't wearing masks; we have overwhelming evidence for their efficacy when properly applied, both on a person-to-person prevention basis and a gross public health basis. They are not 100% effective at preventing infection but they lower the R0 enough to slowly destroy the pandemic.
