listen I've had my own 2 year vacation to get off methadone too. I just find his lying about it to be a little gross. If I were to believe the lie (that he was unaware of the danger of benzos) then he is completely unqualified to talk psych. But obviously, he's not tellin the truth. And don't be so fragile about it, I'm being glib cuz he's a public figure. I am very polite to people's faces, and try to respect their struggles and stuff. I probably wouldn't bring it up whatsoever except to commisserate if he were in the room, cause I know it's a death struggle and every minute for him is very hard right now, AND I know what it's like to survive a death struggle or 3. Unlike "my detractors" who chase me around shouting tranny!! with the aim of harming me.

I feel like you have a personal vendetta against JP because he refused to call people by their preferred pronouns. Even though he did publicly admit that he probably would do it, he just didn’t like the Canadian government passing a law that forced him to do so.
He’s a lot smarter, or has a lot more common sense than a lot of his naysayers give him credit for.
