In case it wasn't clear, the derailment is intentional.
Look, we're all playing a game with no quest XP. We all, every single day, see the contradiction between that, and a decade of R&N quotes (not to mention the graphic in the upper-left corner here).
What I'm saying is, at this exact moment when we're all smarting from classic EQ being deprioritized ... it doesn't do anyone any good to keep harping on it. Yes, there's some hypocrisy now; before when people used to bitch about the unclassic bits here, I'd refer them to
http://wiki.project1999.com/Non-Classic%20Compendium, and explain how the staff couldn't help but make that bit unclassic. Now I can't.
We can't change that fact. But we can stop going around and around in circles about it. The devs will fix priority #2 (classic EQ) after they fix priority #1 (whatever mattered more to them than classic EQ). That day will come ... and until then I don't see the value in dwelling on and publically lamenting it.
