Your argument is tired. It's not provable without a time machine. And even then you'd still argue.
You're kind of making the exact same argument I am. What I am pushing back against are affirmative claims that Trump somehow did something wrong, or could have done something better, when it's impossible to really know that or base anything useful off it. It's pointless to speculate in either direction. People just hate the guy, and want reasons to affirm their hatred, and that is fundamentally irrational.
