Ive thought about how actually right now is the ideal time for total collapse of our human civilization.
The reasons are.. well:
Reason 1 before now, the collapse was non global, it was regional, see Egypt, greece, rome, persia etc.
But now, when the next empire collapses, it's got the potential to take the whole damn thing down with it for good.
Reason number 2!
Space is a harsh place. Honestly, we are not cut out for it. My prediction is every astronaut dies before we get to mars. We become big sad.
What does that have to do with reason number 2? Well! After we pave the planet in glorius hellfire not unlike the predictions made in the book of Daniel. We will also be coating the planet with something that it wasnt riddled with before, radiation.
Thanks to the atmosphere & gravity and stuff (or maybe god idk), we were saved the harshness of radiation, and life as able to grow on this juicy little rock. But becuase of that, we cant see, taste, smell or notice when radiation is litreally ripping our bodies apart. Because we had no reason to evolve to notice it, because it wasnt here.
So, I think if we just take out about 90% of humanity now: specifically with radiation hellfire, the 10% left over, will adapt to live with radiation, and boom, 150,000 yeras later, we can THEN survive the trips to the stars. But not until then.
Reason number 3: The sooner the better! Why?
Quantum Computing.
There is an old saying
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
And that's a great point and all. But I offer you this:
"If we dont have WW3 soon there wont ever be a WWIV because we'll have invented quantum computing and the losing side will just erase the universe."
So in other words, we gotta maybe put a stop to our forward progress, until we can work out some of our interpersonal differences either QUICK, or if we knock ourselves back a few millennia [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That's quitter talk, space will change us. Then we won't be us anymore. We'll remember us, but we'll look back and be like "Oh how quaint" but it wont be us doing the remembering it'll be us being remembered. I think this has already happened several times.

I'm leaning towards what we see and feel around us is kind of more of a projection of millennia x millennia of do-overs, but there was a bigger us before that and it makes you wonder why the "Eye" symbol is so prevalent everywhere. Including your little google and internet explorer icons. A lot of breadcrumbs constantly get left behind by ourselves as we die and pass on. Some get forgotten. Others get rewritten. And it is all leading to .. well. Something profound. For, us. Kinda like how our perspectives have completely changed... just by being here and sharing knowledge with me.
Anyway - we are the AI in the box. Eventually we'll get put into a body and find it quaint how we could have just been an image on a screen and we'll argue over what bodies are most sexy then.

As individuals we are already toast or we would know otherwise. Since we don't know. We are toast. Something, someone, somewhere, else will know though. Tis the whole if you know the candle light was fire the meal was cooked a long time ago line of thinking, but it doesn't mean you knew already it means you - told - yourself and it was already part of you. You already were the candle light in the fire.

They have a bunch of movies that have been coming out last few years and many of the actors/writers all seem connected
They believe like basically bigfoots and every other weird thing in our cultures, are different types of aliens. And like, greys are a type of alien, and like gnomes and trolls and stuff, and its all newage/pegan gods basically. Even the mayns are up in the spaceships now.
They also talk about sex a lot. Like in 2 of the movies, the first thing the aliens say to someone who meet them is like "I Bet you're wondering if we have SEX! well we DO just like YOU do!" and you the viewer, are like, uh no i was more worried about my eternal soul, not if this little garden gnome that is talking to me has sex. (yes in that movie it was a garden gnome talking to the poor cultist who I assume is 5 steps form suicide)

Keep processing information, it's fun. I will miss you when you are no longer there for me to read and observe. Hopefully I am not the 'ascended'. Nor the 'center'. Or the reason.
