You conflate "random drop" with "randomly award." Dishonest or dumb.
Classic EQ: Item randomly drops. Person holding camp is awarded the item.
Socialist EQ: Item randomly drops. Item is randomly awarded to a player amongst the proletariat.
Fishing: After 1 hour I caught one. I took the fish home and cook it.
Socialist Fishing: After 1 hour I caught one. I was unlucky /randoming my fish against 100 people. Some random person took home my fish and cooked it.
