Quote:
The anterior cingulate cortex, an area that helps detect errors and resolve conflicts, tends to be larger in liberals.
And the amygdala, which is important for regulating emotions and evaluating threats, is larger in conservatives.

I am using my amygdala right now to regulate my emotion about the validity of any information coming from Scientific American, which has started to
push critical race theory as science lately and why the publication experienced a marked leftward shift in 2020 for the first time in its history.
(Trust the scientists they say!)
Anyway, this slander seems to be directed at liberals, so I'll others carry the outrage. Just to be clear, these 'scientists' are calling liberals a bunch of nit-picky complaining cry-babies who just want to make nice in the end. And the only reason they're still alive is that calm and reasoned conservatives decided they were not a threat.
I'm blaming my shrunken anterior cingulate cortex for failing to detect the error that liberals are not a threat, or at least not a sufficient one to activate my superior* amygdala.

bigger. The fact that it's better is assumed as always.
