I don't think anyone in their right mind voted Trump in '16 because they trusted Trump had the know-how to fix problems. It was more of a FUCK YOU to the lifetime politicians who've made a career out of robbing the middle class while pissing down our backs and telling us its raining. This imaginary pandemic, and the 4 years of whining like a geriatric on all of their media mouthpeices only reinforces the fact that it was the correct decision, and will continue to be the correct position to take moving forward.
For example: In 2004 the public voted for Kerry to NOT be the president. Instead of disappearing into obscurity, what happened in 2012? He was made secretary of state, arguably the highest NON-ELECTED public office possible. THe people didn't want this piece of shit in office, but what do we get? Next presidency places this asshole into a position of power. You can't get rid of these useless pieces of shit. If they don't win an elected office due to unpopular ideas/policies, their bullshit party just backdoors them into a position of power anyways. That's bullshit.
In 2016, I would've voted for anyone running on a campaign promise to not even get out of bed in the morning, considering where the crooks on capitol hill were taking this country and still will. 2 Scoops for King Ecgbert, because fuck you that's why.

Next time you need surgery, I suggest you don't get a lifetime surgeon or even a medical doctor. Look for someone whose sole qualification is promising not to get out bed in the morning.
Appointing someone to a position is just that, an appointment. Are you really saying that if you lose an election you don't get to be in government again? Or just not an appointed position? I'll answer the question for you, you don't know.
Lifers in any position can be horrible or can be great. It just depends.
