This is going to happen in any game in which you have static customer service representatives interacting with the player-base directly, often repeatedly. It happened on every server on Live, when you had the same Guides, Admin Guides and Admin GMs assigned to the same server, servicing the same players day in and day out. It is the nature of the beast.
Most are able to retain "friends" yet remain impartial and fair. A few, not so much, but they are often the minority and are quickly exposed. Personally, it doesn't bother me.
I don't think there is any more favoritism here than there was on Live servers, it just seems like there's more because this is a server of 800 or so, as opposed to a server of 3000.
Amelinda did fine considering the information she had to work with. Logs and screen shots come later, when a player is suspected of being a "repeat offender".
