The latest ADL report I could find had it listed at approx. 3,000, And that was at a point when Democrats said Trump was making them come out of the woodwork at record numbers with his talk about illegal immigrants from Mexico. I used ADL because I constantly hear them referenced as a source for this topic. That is almost just as statistically insignificant when modeled against the US population as 9. You have almost no chance of encountering a practicing 'white supremacist' in the course of your day which is the point douglas99 was trying to make. He also mentioned the redefining of racist terminology because that is exactly what is happening.
Here we are in 2020 trying to reinvent racism to fit the new modern narrative.
Oxford (the old/real meaning):
Racism
- prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.
-the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another.
The NEW definition (as defined by ADL):
-The marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.
Because only white people are racist, amirite???
