wow. this is a powerful message about exploitation and alienation. indeed, we should all recognize, as Nirgon does here, that we in the imperial core are alive solely because people in the periphery countries are forced to hand over the fruits of their labor, by violence and the threat thereof. our survival is dependent on our own efforts only insofar as we do not oppose the imperial machinery which brainwashes our children to kill and main. we have no true independence, no individuality. should we attempt to exercise either, we too will face violence.
