Just look at the percentage of these people post in the 'server first' thread. like i said, all you can do is pity them really. these aren't middle school or high school students. these are adults.

Another excellent point. The majority of the people who are high end on this server with gear, firsts, in a successful raiding guild, whatever - have no fucking commitments in real life to worry about.
I'm not saying they're basement dwellers still living at home, some of them aren't. Some people that play here work from home, or are stay home parents, or whatever. The bottom line is with a game like this, you're only successful at the end game if you have all the free time in the world to piss away on everquest.
