Midsommar is one of my recent favorites, a lot of good moves are mentioned in this thread. It's a great film and cinematically breathtaking.

at what point would I have a 'red flag' that this awesome vacation with this person Ive lived with for the last year, would be what it turns out to be?

It turns out that I would have my first red flag, way to late to be able to do anything about it.

It's one of the first horror movies that I couldn't say "don't go in there!" because everything leading to going in there is totally rational and makes total sense like, sure if your totally chill friend/roommate asks you to go to a super awesome swedish cultural celebration back home, you'd be nuts to not "go in there" with em lol
