My cousin went to the first Gulf War (you know the one we won) and they made him drive a deuce through so much toxic smoke he got brain damage so when he came back he lost all his money on get rich schemes like sending people money so they would send him a pdf of a government form so he could apply for some scam loan. And you could tell too because he was pretty sharp before he deployed but afterwards it was just no good.
But I digress, he had trophies like you wouldn't believe. He had all the flags and patches and shit, but the motherload was a bunch of 23mm shells he pulled out of a Shilka. He actually came home with several coke bottle sized anti-aircraft shells in his duffel bag, it was insane.
We tried to make a cannon but our fabrication skills were lacking.
I had one standing on my desk for the longest time everyone just assumed it was inert until I would start to shake it like a maraca. One day it was gone and then I found my father came to visit while I was gone and he went to my office and saw the shell and saw it was live so he took it and threw it into the Passaic river, right off the 8th st bridge going to Wallington. Crazy old man, I miss him.
