Political liberalism and cultural conservatism are actually the way to go. Sadly, it’s hard to find a balance that doesn’t go from Erdogan in 2003 to erdogan in 2020. Or Poland’s trajectory post communism. It will take nuance and open mindedness, those things are in short supply
