There was a lot missing from the start that's been taken out of context. If I'm a cop and I see a random car aggressively pull up on me, yeah that might be cause for concern especially with all the anti-police rhetoric going around the country at the moment. However, even if he patrolling looking for homeless people or "troublemakers" you can't just sit in private property like that, police tend to think the law don't apply to them.
IMO both sides are at fault here, I'm not taking the officer's side, by all means that doesn't give the guy an excuse to pull out a gun though on a man's property, but both sides coulda handled the situation more delicately rather than just get into a dick measuring contest.
