Physical reinforcment is not responsible teaching. It is the last resort of those who do not know how to deal with a child. Again i have NEVER hit my children and 2 of the 3 are grown men who are good productive members of society
the 3rd is only a small child still and he will never be hit in any manner by me or my wife for discipline. Violence in any form is never the answer

Oh, you fucking morons.
First, congradulations, and I sincerely mean that. If that works for you, great, and wonderful.
This is NOT the case with ALL children.
Second, if you are going to join the bandwagon of people misunderstanding the usage of the word 'violence' when compared to, 'physical' in this context, then shut the fuck up.
Again I will try this:
I'm not advocating violence. I'm not advocating abuse. You are trying to make it sound that way. I'm talking about
rational enforcement of behavioral standards through physical means that do
not include abuse. Stop trying to make me sound like a childbeater, you stupid, holier-than-thou motherfuckers. If you can't wrap your brain around that, go hug your kids and keep deluding yourself into thinking that any form of physical contact is abuse.
