You're probably experiencing the same thing others have with ISP routing issues. For some internet things, you're fine, but not the server. ping project1999.com -t and see what it looks like. not that it helps, just tells us if that's your issue.
The standard thing to try is a VPN to change how you route to the servers. Go wired vs wireless would be a good try as well. After that, restarting your ISP's equipment, your own router etc.

Sorry bout the slow reply sadly I tend to forget bout the forums when there are no problems =D. Now to the meat of this.... I understand what you are saying however due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to computers I don't know how to do any of that(well other than changing to a wired connection). I actullay "fixed" the problem by pulling out my old laptop installing EQ P99 and using it which for some strange reason worked. I'm still using my laptop to play EQ because strangely I'm still having the same problem on my desktop. So problem is still there if you would like to tell me how to "ping" so I can post the results for you I would be more than happy to. Thanks for trying to help!
