Water: The water elemental has nearly as many hit points as the earth elemental. In addition, it's agility is better (it gets hit less), and it has a super fast regeneration. Nov, 1999 claims water pet has the fastest regen. But it's just that text, no examples or logs.

On pets, yet again im saying this untill about lvl 34 earth is about as bad as using Fire to tank, (earth get hit alot canceling out the bonus of having a lot of HPS) there is not best pet but for soloing
Water is the best till 34. It has natural regen ( bout 4 hps a tick) Immune to poison,
Medium ac, good attack (better than earth) and it can back stab at lvl 39 o), Plus it has the second best hps and hits as bout as hard if not harder than earth. so making the water pet good ( imo the best ) for soloing below lvl 39

Also the regen is very nice. let an earth pet get beat down, and then compare its regen time to the water, you'll see what I mean

Water - This pet is your pet that is pretty much average in all areas. It has a good amount of hitpoints, does a good amount of damage, and has a fair amount of agility. It also regenerates hitpoints quickly and is immune to poison spells and effects.
