Two things that help. One is to always exit out of the game completely and log back in again. The second is to change your eqgame.exe compatibility settings as shown by my finger. I know I need to trim but at least I'm not one of those nail-biters. Hope this helps!
edit: I hope I didn't insult you by referring to people who excessively bite their nails in a somewhat derogatory manner. I mean yeah they're all sick and it's disguising but I'm here to help people not start fights.
