It’s causing a novel form of coagulopathy that’s causing both large vessel occlusions and MIs. The immune system often does the killing during a viral infection, which is why diabetes, hypertension, and obesity dramatically increase the mortality rate.

Thank you said it a lot better than I could. I agree it's kind of scary what this virus can do before you realize there's a problem and they really have no idea
