Sometimes I wonder what it's like to live in a headspace where everything is planned a decade in advance and executed without flaw globally by competent and well-coordinated shadowmen. That'd be nicer than just people making the same terrible mistakes over and over again
I read once that was the original plot of everquest but they scrapped it. Now the shadowmen just hang out in ec and lavastorm kicking rocks

Executed without flaw? no.
In the recent hacking into emails at the institute of virology in Wuhan, and the WHO, it was revealed that they originally intended to splice the coronavirus with ebola to acheive a much higher death rate, but that proved non-transmittable.
In April 2019 after testing coronavirus spliced with HIV they found a pathogen with a very very high transmittability rate, but the mortality was much lower than they had hoped for.
They had to settle for the latter discovery, as time was running short. Which is why we have such an underwhelming death toll with this whole virus thing, with a statistically verifiable mark-ed decrease in the average death toll of pre-extant fatal illnesses being attributed erroneously to coronavirus, and loose definitions of how our medical staff are to ascribe the cause of death as this fairly tame alternative spreads through the population. This relation to HIV is also why the antibody count in those recovering from the virus is much lower than normally witnessed when one recovers from other forms of coronavirus conventionally umbrella'd under the term "the common cold".
In an effort to control the narrative, the media industry then released a stream of articles over the past few days denoting the occurence of the hack, and attributing the antagonists of the hacks as Neo-Nazis, and other miscellaneous "online terrorists" and "extremists" as a means of conducting an ad-hominem attack to discredit the discoveries unearthed in said activities, as evidenced here:
