Yeah, but if that was the case, there are plenty of balance and QOL changes that came in later expansions that could've been implemented, but were deliberately ignored instead. In fact, they went so far as to REMOVE shit that "wasn't classic" like the pet window. Like, pick a side of the fence, make the best game you can. Great. This mix and match shit depending on how they feel at the time can make people that wind up with the short end of the stick understandably annoyed.
