I haven't watched The Joker because based on the marketing materials I fear this is another of Joaquin's tornadoes of overacting, similar to his unwatchable roles in The Gladiator, The Master, and Inherent Vice.
I really enjoyed Walk The Line. The man is so good when he's not grabbing you by the throat and screaming in your face: "I'm acting here! Look at all this actor business how I'm doing it!" Just tone it down a little man.
