If your brand new to the server Enchanter is probably the best choice in my opinion. I don’t have any experience raiding on one on p99 and have heard conflicting options as to whether they are just buff bots or exciting to play when helping pull.. I’ll leave that for someone else to answer.
On the road to 60, the pros of enchanter are they are very cheap to gear, arguably the best solo and group class, best mana regen spells, charm, best dps if in a group, Best crowd control, second best slow, and also the best plat farming class. I enjoyed the class all the way to 60. It is great to be able to solo and get some exp if you don’t have time to play and get a duo or group if you want.
There is a bit of a learning curve on how to be effective charming but if you watch the videos Tecmos made there is a ton of information in them.
