5-day (average! up to 9, or 12) incubation period where asymptomatic ppl may be transmitting the disease. There is also at least one reported "reinfection", but I don't think that matter is settled. The sense of crisis should have ratcheted up about 7 days ago; too late now. My nose has been drippy my whole life, and I was uncomfortable being seen dabbing it out getting groceries.
Also my gym shut down today, and it's visible from my apartment. The empty parking lot is spooky. Ambulances with their sirens on keep passing it, going back and forth. I haven't yet seen a death rate stat that deserved to be believed. I'm real spooked.
I know that UMC in Las Vegas is swamped with people in their 30s with pneumonaic symptoms. Wishing you all the best and that you each take this seriously. I'm a patriot so I haven't stockpiled, since that impulse is the only threat to supply chain; shame on you if you did.
PS: I know there's a lot of mixed messaging from the medical community, but masks do provide a bit of help. Even the simple paper ones. Like stiff denim vs japanese steel. Take care.
