It's because most of the vz-tz folks are such a group of parasitic, sociopathic malcontents that creating your own forums shifted you largely out of the bluebie forums, and therefore maintains some semblance of what it used to be before you got here.
I think it was a smart move.
But who knows - I really think Rogean will eventually set it up, but he'll probably need more manpower. People always complained that Kunark wasn't coming fora year or more only months before it was released...
