7.8 billion people on the earth, that's 180 million dead if it infects every single person. I can't cite the source but I was watching one of those WHO guys on TV and he said if containment fails we're looking at a 40-70% penetration rate, so that number becomes 70 and 125 million. Now we can all rest easier. |
I joke about the latest "were all going to die" channel 2 news plague all the time, even this one but I've never heard the head CDC guy say "it's going to be bad"
