I babysit at a house where they keep the switch on the fireplace mantle 5.5' off the ground, and I'm so scared that I'm gonna drop the dumb thing when I swap out games for my kid. I ready hate the design of the system. It feels made to break. The controllers bug out. The tablet just wants to be dropped. Tiny SD cartridges which I'm sure are easy to lose. Not really a fan of it.
Also, 2 player Yoshi was designed in hell...

Controllers have documented drift problems. Nintendo offers free repair / replacement because it's so widespread.
It's my favorite system but that doesn't mean I haven't run into problems. I bought AI: The Somnium Files and it ran so poorly I had to wait while the game buffered cgi cut scenes constantly. It was a fun game but it never should have been released on a Nintendo system performing as poorly as it does.
I put Nintendo on a pedestal at least 5.5' higher than other systems.
