There is quite a difference between a guild in a video game role playing superiority over all other races in the game (largely based off of lore from the game creators themselves) and people in said video game sending personal tells about "watermelon and grape soda har har har" would you not agree?

I'd say normalizing the rhetoric of racial supremacy is bad enough on its own and doesn't need to be minimalized by abject comparison.
