In high school I tried REALLY hard to be nice to this one guy. Every day, it was a new promise to myself that I would NOT lash out and berate him for being an absolute dolt.
Let's call him Richard.
(On the topic of sushi)
Richard: "Sushi is only rice. They put the fish on it to give the rice flavor but take it off before you eat it. You don't eat the rice and fish together."
Me: "So Uncle Ben makes sushi bowls now? Wow, Richard, that makes so much sense."
(On the topic of Operating Systems)
Me: "Hey, Richard. Did you know Microsoft and Apple came together and made a new OS? It's called 'Windintosh.'"
Richard: "Really? Yeah I was wondering when that was going to happen. I heard something about them working on that a long time ago.."
