I’m working the ski season in Niigata Japan this year, and this week is Chinese New Year so we’re flooded with a bunch of folks from China, Singapore, and Malaysia.
People are buying up face masks from all the stores like hot cakes. It’s impossible to find them back in China and Japan has a shit load of them. Saw a lady at the hotel last night with a pile big enough to fill multiple checked bags.
It’s pretty wild.
