Oh I do. I was literally about to /list last week, decided "the item isn't going away in a week, I can wait one more", and screwed myself over. There is
massive self-flagellation here.
But none of that changes the fact that
infinite lists are unclassic, and unclassically benefit account sharers. Now (with the merger), it's to the extent on some lists that a single player literally cannot do them without going for multiple nights in a row without sleep (something no doctor would ever advise).
Changing /lists to include an element of randomness makes them more classic (live GMs, the classic list maintainers, clocked out after 8 hours), makes it so people can sleep, and ... perhaps most importantly of all ... makes list items work like every other desired item in the game:
not guaranteed to the most pathetic (some of whom are the very same people who cry about "welfare pixels"), but won by combination of perseverance and good luck.
