Prove this. I was just told by a GM 3 weeks ago that someone can keep the camp as long as they are at the camp by the time the next PH spawns. I legitimately asked the GM if the guy can log on to his next alt and bring it before the next PH pops and he said that is totally legal. So from what I was told by the GM you can hold a camp forever without being in front of said camp.

Sounds like you need to give the
p99 guidebook another read. It's stated in bold right on the page. I'll quote that specific section for you.
