I also believe that the world is in a great place. Go back 80 years ago, it wasn't. Go back 20 something years before that, it wasn't. Even in-between there have been some bad times across the globe with diseases and wars.
The world is becoming way better. 50% of the world was pulled out of poverty in 15 years with a goal of 30 years. It is a better time to be alive today than ever before.
