My SK is in mostly Darkforge at 38 and I have to say I don't think I need to upgrade yet but I'm not too knowledgable or rich enough to think about blood ember items. Ignorance is bliss!
Either way be glad you're not limited to dreadscale, gotta feel sorry for those lizards.
