The server has a very clear goal. That goal isn't to hold your hand and make you happy. It's to emulate classic everquest. I've lost count of how many times the server has faced its impending doom, prophecized by people who seem to have mistaken the developers for people who give a shit if you like the goals of the server or not. It doesn't matter if there are 200 or 2000 people playing. The direction of the server is set in stone, and all the tantrums and fits in the world aren't going to change that.

There was a player holding a trivia event, so I did some minor things to help out. I like to encourage that sort of thing. Unfortuntately, never underestimate the power of retardation:

Someone interested in privacy doesn't cry publically about their extremely minor suspension because they didn't get a response in 10 minutes.

There are only two rules in R&F, and Ingrum posted them both.

Some random idiot who cries on the forums and tries to pull a fast one on the staff != a community member. Quite the opposite, the community gets better every time one of these filters themselves out. This server isn't a right, it's a privelege. If you're more trouble than you're worth, everyone is better off without you.

Welcome to Everquest indeed. Where anyone better than you has no life and anyone worse than you is a noob, and the players cry about each other crying and defend said crying with ridiculous roundabout tirades that they're just 'mad and venting'.
