Yeah, GLS vendor for more than 4p each, though you need that magic weapon first to kill them.
There is some skeleton in lavastorm thats low level and drops a magic spear too I have heard. Not sure how rare it is though.

The L12 animation has a magic attack (not Bash), for the enchanters wondering. That warbone spearman isn't very common; we were killing goblins all one Saturday and only saw him mentioned once.
