I never had an issue as Ranger main, /shrug.
Ivy etched, SSoM + Orc Impaler, self-buffs, tracking, etc. Did just fine. Even utilized PGT, Ebony Bladed Sword, EBWs, and some other classic weapons until I finally hit the planes and upgraded to a Flux axe (god, now THOSE were some fun procs).
