Well, if you're not fat, then you're way ahead of the curve. You might try working on your figure as much as you can. You would be surprised how much a nice body with nice skin will trump some hammertime on a face. Oh, and fix the things that you can with your facial area. Like if your grill is all fucked up, get some work done to remedy that. Try to get some advise on the best makeup scheme that would help with your features.
The 'ugliest' girl I dated probably had the best body. Imagine Halle Berry with a face like Rosanne Barr... yeah. But man her figure was fucking flawless. I don't care how pretty your face is; if you have to suck in your gut to fit through a door, your hopes of getting any action are slim.

If I can offer a little advice of how to go about having nice skin & doing your make up, etc. Just go to a cosmetics store and ask for help, don't be embarrassed. I've been friends with girls that work at cosmetic stores and they love helping girls figure out stuff like that.
