I started doing intermittent fasting about a month ago. No eating until 12pm, done eating at 8pm. My friend sold me on the idea by telling me that you will have extra energy and that's how she was able to effectively lose weight.

It has worked out pretty great so far. I've generally always had an athletic physique, but with no added workout I am losing some stubborn belly fat that has always been with me and my abs are showing more every day. If anything, I've been less active as it's started to cool down. With fewer meals, my energy levels are definitely higher and I don't feel sluggish throughout the day.

I haven't done my research but from what my friend told me, it takes a lot of energy to digest. It's the reason you feel tired after a meal; so you shrink the window during which your body has to burn this energy. Breakfast is a new thing. Imagine you couldn't hunt back in the day because you hadn't eaten yet.

There's probably so much we will come to discovery we are doing incorrectly.

To get back on topic. I have a relatively organized life and feel like I manage stress intelligently. This has probably also contributed to my hair making a comeback.
