I've always hated this phrase and you should be ashamed for being one of those people who use it. At the end of what day? Today? Would your point be any different if it were the beginning of the day? The next morning? Try to pay attention to the language we've all agreed on. It doesn't make sense and it's irritating.
To be honest with all due respect I just thought I'd throw in my 110% 2 cents about this so we could raise the bar and take our language to the next level, but the ball is in your court so it is what it is and I'll just have to bite the bullet on this issue. I've already got a lot on my plate, my hands are tied, and I won't beat around the bush the fact of the matter is at the end of the day we're back to square one. Sorry to throw you under the bus.
