Actually you argued against your own understanding there: No pet will dual wield without weapons - this pet dual wields without weapons. Also as stated on this post, some other pets do too, without being given weapons, at certain levels, as I originally quoted Kanras on.

All I was sayin is.. some pets do dual wield, even without weapons. And if certain others don't now, they will in October(ish) when they patch it in accordance with Classic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
