Any laptop made today will run P99, whether it runs it's own Operating system very well is another question. I think the bloatware on that thing will suck. Remember... when Original EQ came out most of us were running computers about 1/10th or 1/100th the speed of that thing.
If it were me though, I'd probably check Ebay or something used for 300ish instead of that. You will likely get more bang for your buck. But if you're not interested in doing your own Laptop maintenance - go with the new one.
