Even without being able to pick iksar I'd still roll a necro. The FD and solo power is exactly what you're after when you need to afk at the drop of a hat. Gnomes, Dark Elves etc still get the same spell book as iksars [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] |
I also prefer an enchanter so I'm not limited to undead dungeons to be able to charm.

Enchanter isn't the worst class for a casual player, but surely isn't the best one. You need to be pretty involved with the game mechanics to make any use of an enchanter.
Necro probably best, close second would be druid or SK.
